ASUS ZenPad 7.0 Z370C Unboxing: Entry Level Tablet With Interchangeable Backs Unboxed (Video)

After playing with the ASUS ZenPad S 8.0 for a few days, it’s time to analyze yet another ZenPad, this time a more affordable model. I’m talking about the ASUS ZenPad 7.0 Z370C, that was launched at Computex 2015.

It comes with a minimal box, that hosts the manual, USB cable and charger and goes for around 149 euros. This slate brings a 7 inch IPS screen with Gorilla Glass 1 protection and 1280 x 800 pixel resolution. There’s also an Intel Atom x3 C3200 quad core CPU inside, 2 GB of RAM and 8 or 16 GB of storage. We’re also getting a 2, 5 or 8 MP back camera, depending on the version you’re buying, plus a 0.3 MP front shooter.

The product offers a big front speaker with DTS HD tech and relies on a 13 Wh Li-Po battery, with enough juice for 7 hours of functioning, apparently. There’s a microSD card slot inside, GPS, Glonass and everything is crammed within an 8.7 mm thick chassis. ASUS ZenPad 7.0 weighs 272 grams and comes with interchangeable covers, like a Power Cover with extra battery and an Audio Cover with extra speakers.

Its back texture feels a bit like leather mixed with a rugged wall texture. We’ll be back with a full review soon.
