Assassin's Creed Syndicate's PC-Only Graphics Features Shown Off

Things like horizon-based ambient occlusion and more on display in this new video

A new gameplay video for the PC edition of Assassin's Creed Syndicate has come online. The video, published by Nvidia and narrated by creative director Marc-Alexis Cote, showcases the game's PC-specific features. Cote talks about how things like temporal anti-aliasing, horizon-based ambient occlusion, and percentage-closer soft shadows all help make the game's version of 1868 London look as good as can be.

The Syndicate video uses a comparison slider to showcase the differences in presentation when those features are switched on or off. Take a look at the three-minute video above, which you can assume was captured on a high-end PC.
Nvidia has also announced that you can get a free copy of Syndicate on PC with the purchase of a select Nvidia GPU, including the GeForce GTX 980 Ti, 980, or 970, or any 970M or above notebook. More details about this free game offer areavailable at Nvidia's website.
