It's yet another day in the run up to Mobile World Congress, and that means we're due yet another leak for an upcoming smartphone. We'll be taking a look at more details surrounding the Xiaomi Mi 5, which is set to be announced on Feb. 24. A new report points to SD card expansion, dual-SIM support, NFC and more.
GizChina has allegedly got a hold of some slides from the Mi 5 presentation, which reveals some certain specifications and details about the unannounced smartphone. As aforementioned, there's talk about SD card support, dual-SIM capabilities, support for all China-based networks, NFC, IR receiver, 5.2-inch 1080p display, physical home button on the front, as well as 3GB/4GB of RAM and 32GB/64GB of internal storage.
The camera was also touched upon as being 26MP with an aperture of f/1.6, which would lead to quite the capable setup for those who enjoy capturing a number of shots on their smartphone. Lastly, we have the Snapdragon 820 (with Qualcomm 3.0 fast charging) and USB 3.0 Type-C. Since this is by no means official, we recommend you take the details from said slides with a grain of salt until we hear from Xiaomi.
We'll be at MWC 2016, so be sure to remain tuned to our feeds for more on the Mi 5 and other products during next week.
